At Barefoot Funerals we believe all funerals should be Authentic, affordable and most of all meaningful.  We are holistic Funeral Directors taking into account all aspects of your person's life.  We believe in gentle care, authentic encounters that help with the grieving process.  We give you time to make decisions and can tailor specific requests.

Even though we do traditional cremations and burials, we at Barefoot Funerals, feel the best way to describe our vision is where we explain all options and provide a safe space for you to make whatever decision is right for you and your family. Whether it be a traditional funeral service in a chapel, a home funeral, by the ocean or a direct cremation where you have no funeral service, we support your choice.  We help you make meaning.  We can advise and help to choose eco friendly products to leave a light footprint on the earth. We also have a range of cardboard coffins, traditional coffins and caskets, urns and cremation jewellery.

We are big supporters of home funerals and meaningful deathcare options.  There are so many things to navigate with the death of your loved person with many end of life choices.  We come with knowledge, gentleness and tenderness.  All our staff are trained and support you in your grief and loss journey.  From small and intimate vigils to large bespoke celebrations of life.
 
We travel all over the Mid North Coast, Bellingen, Urunga, Dorrigo, Coffs Harbour, Valla, Nambucca, Macksville, Scotts Head and other places by arrangement.

We have a large range of eco/earth friendly coffins for burial or cremation.

We have thoroughly researched eco friendly coffins and can provide a suitable range of products. Your choices range from cardboard, plantation pine,  and the popular imported willow/wicker products. All of these coffins are teamed with eco friendly components ensuring that the final footprint is as light as can be and are approved for use in Australia.

We also have traditional coffins and cardboard as well.
